Casa de Los Torotes is not for everyone. The lists below can help you decide if a stay would be right for you.
Please do not consider a stay if:
 | Golf or Tennis is highly important. The Casa is an hour and a half away from San Jose del Cabo and the nearest Golf courses. There are some tennis courts in Los Barriles. |
| You want to regularly experience Cabo San Lucas night life. The Casa is about 2 hours from the Cabo San Lucas night-life scene. |
| You don't think you can make your own fun with the beach, the sea, the desert, the mountains and a large beautiful house. We do not have a TV or a phone. There is no internet access from our home. (there are 2 internet cafe's in La Ribera - 10 minutes away). |
| You want to spend a lot of time shopping with fellow vacationers . The Casa is relatively secluded. The nearest "tourist" shopping is in Los Barriles, 25 minutes to the North. |
| If you want to eat out every night in gourmet restaurants. While there are some fine restaurants in Los Cabos, those are an hour and a half to two hours away. La Ribera and Los Barriles have a handful of good restaurants featuring simple fare. |
A stay here can be a good fit if:
| You love to explore another country and culture on its own terms. |
| You are water sports oriented. You enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, snorkling. |
| You know how to make your own fun. You and your companions enjoy each other, and don't need constant external stimulation |
| You are flexible, open to new experiences, like exploring and have a sense of adventure. |
| You want a real change of scene. |
